Promoting Sustainability
Mar Scaffolding took part in an Environmental Policy Workshop today provided by the Supplier Development Programme & Resource Efficient Scotland. The morning session aimed to give businesses a better understanding of potential impact to the environment through their actions, and to promote a sustainable and responsible attitude. As a result, Mar Scaffolding have decided to commit to achieveable objectives to improve upon their existant environmental policy. These objectives include reducing our paper usage along with monitoring vehicle fuel consumption on a regular basis. We hope to have some positive data to share with you soon!

Training and Development
Mar Scaffolding are delighted to support Scottish initiative the Supplier Development Programme as part of a case study into the impact of their free training days. Staff have attended a variety of valuable half day talks such as Improve Your Tender Score, Value Add and Innovation, Quality Management and an Environmental Policy Workshop and found all of them to be both informative and useful in increasing our already strong tender score. Mar Scaffolding has a new website designed by Fife business Internet Creation.
The new site and company twitter feed will help to keep us up to date with any changes in the world of scaffolding and construction, along with increasing awareness of our brand in the local and national arenas.
