New apprentices
We are delighted to have welcomed two new apprentices onto our apprenticeship scheme at Mar Scaffolding, following a successful selection test.
Jack and Caidan are two young, ambitious individuals with a passion for learning our trade.
There was a very strong selection of candidates that applied for the position this year and the successful candidates performed very well.
Upon successfully passing the selection test, Jack and Caidan were granted the opportunity to participate in our comprehensive apprenticeship programme. This program offers a unique combination of practical on-the-job in-house training, block release training at Inchinnan in Glasgow, theoretical knowledge and mentorship from our team. Over the course of the program, they will gain invaluable hands-on experience, learn essential skills and progress through various grades before achieving their scaffolding qualification.
Best of luck to our new apprentices. if you are a young person that has an interest in construction, keep your eyes on our social media pages next summer for next year’s enrolment.

Mar Scaffolding welcomes new members to our team
New starts
Mar Scaffolding have taken on an additional 7 staff to accomodate our current programme.
The additions to our team consist of 4 scaffolders, 1 trainee, 1 HGV driver and 1 Kickstart position.

New yard
Cartmore Industrial Estate
We have moved premises to a new larger yard in Lochgelly following planning being approved for home building in our former yard.
We will now be located at Cartmore Industrial Estate, Lochglley KY5 8LL. (First right and then immediately right).

CHAS
Another Successful Audit
Mar Scaffolding have retained their CHAS accreditation after a successful audit.
We are active members of the NASC, with accreditations in CHAS, Investors in People and Investors in Young People.
